OAL HESD Curriculum

Requirements

Students complete 36 required credit hours* as listed below to graduate with an M.A. in Outdoor and Adventure Leadership, Higher Education and Student Leadership concentration.

*Must include at least 12 hours of HESD courses.

Mission Ministry and Leadership Requirements (6 Credits)

• MML 512 Leadership and Spiritual Formation (4)
• MML 503 Cultural Engagement (2)

Biblical or Theological Studies Course (4 Credits)

• Select from BITH 565/566/578 (4)

Core Concentration requirements (20 Credits)

Outdoor Ministry Requirements

Higher Education Requirements
