Apply for Scholarships and Aid

Financial aid for transfer applicants to Wheaton College is available in three forms:

  • Grants and Scholarships
  • Loans
  • Work-study

Using the previous year’s tax forms, spring transfer students may submit their application for financial aid at the same time as they apply for admission (by October 1st). Fall transfer students should file by the priority deadline of March 1.

Presidential Scholarships

Transfer Students

You've already invested time in furthering your education, and we want to honor that investment. That's why we look at your most recent academic experience to determine your eligibility for scholarships at Wheaton College.

The Presidential Scholarships for Transfer Students range from $12,000 to $20,000 per year.

Transfer Students can merit a Presidential Scholarship based on a holistic review of their admission application, college GPA, and curriculum.

The Presidential Scholarships are renewable through your expected date of graduation (up to 8 semesters) for students who remain in good academic standing.

Illinois Community College Transfer Scholarships

Private Illinois Colleges and Universities (PICU), an organization dedicated to a student-centered approach at each phase of the transfer process, offers scholarships to students interested in completing a four-year degree at a private college in Illinois. Scholarships range from $500 to $1000. All applicants applying for transfer to Wheaton from community colleges in the state of Illinois are eligible for consideration. The deadline for scholarship applications is in June. You can apply online here.
