M.A . in Evangelism and Leadership Learning Outcomes
As a result of completing the M.A. in Evangelism and Leadership program at Wheaton College, students will achieve the following learning outcomes:
- Employ cultural and biblical hermeneutics to interpret the world around them by exegeting cultural artifacts, documents, and groups.
- Employ cultural and biblical hermeneutics to interpret the world around them by using sound research methodology to answer questions.
- Articulate the robust, holistic nature of the Gospel by sharing a simple, but theologically and historically informed summary of the gospel with unchurched people.
- Clearly communicate the Gospel in a variety of settings by sharing their faith using stories, gospel illustrations, and cultural references.
- Clearly communicate the Gospel in a variety of settings by articulating the plausibility of the Christian faith in various cultures and contexts.
- Create evangelism initiatives that are appropriately contextualized by developing and assessing Contextualized ministry plans.
- Create evangelism initiatives that are appropriately contextualized by sharing Jesus through a contextualized gospel illustration.
- Lead themselves by assessing their personal development and indicating strategies for growth.
- Lead others by developing viable plans to lead organizations successfully through change.
