Carrie Williams

Carrie Williams has received her B.S. in Human and Family Resources with an emphasis in leadership and her M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northern Illinois University.  Currently Carrie is pursuing her PhD in Counseling and Psychological Studies with an emphasis in Human Services and Student Affairs at Regent University. Over the years, Carrie has served in various capacities as a mental health counselor (private practice as well as within agencies), college academic advisor, resource specialist, program developer, advisor to student orgs, college instructor, sexual assault and domestic violence advocate, and an administrator.  God has used those various roles to prune, develop, mature, and equip her to be the intercessor that she is today. As the Director of Student Care Services, Carrie is dedicated to ensuring every student is thriving in their God given talent and abilities as they persist to graduation and beyond this campus.

Carrie leads the campus proactive, coordinated and response efforts of care and support through her collaboration with various offices on campus and in the community. Together they effectively attend to the holistic needs of all students.  Her goal is to meet students where they are in their development, inform them about the campus and community resources available, address their needs with viable options, offer comfort and guidance, and advocate for them to receive the best-streamlined support during difficult times. 

Carrie stands with her husband in an active leadership role as the First Lady as he serves as the Pastor of their church. Carrie is a caring and committed mother of three children (2 college level and a high schooler). When she finds spare time - Carrie enjoys spending quality time with family watching great movies, singing and listening to gospel music, bowling, attending sports games, and laughing with family and friends.
