We believe homeschooling provides applicants with unique opportunities and experiences which enrich our student body.
You Are Welcome Here
Wheaton College welcomes applications from homeschoolers who have completed a rigorous college-preparatory program. Homeschoolers have been a part of our community for many years, and we recognize the particular assets they bring to college life: initiative, independent learning, and creative thinking. Nearly 10% of incoming classes have been homeschooled at some point during their high school years.
Forms
If you were homeschooled for any part of high school, you must submit a transcript signed by your homeschool official (often a parent), in addition to your application to the College of Arts and Sciences or the Conservatory of Music. A transcript template is provided for your convenience.
- Additionally, please submit our Homeschool Information Form.
- Forms can be emailed to admissions@wheaton.edu.
- More academic standards are found in our Frequently Asked Questions from homeschool students.
