Wheaton College was selected as one of America’s best values in college education according to Kiplinger’s Personal Finance. This year, Kiplinger’s ranked Wheaton 49th out of 300 in their Best Value Colleges list and 27th out of 100 in Best Values in Liberal Arts Colleges.
The Kiplinger ranking measures both quality and affordability, taking into account schools’ admissions rates, SAT and ACT scores, student-faculty ratios, and graduation rates in addition to sticker price and financial aid offerings. Kiplinger’s analyzed more than 1,200 public and private four-year institutions to develop their list of 300 Best Value Colleges.
Director of Student Financial Services Karen Belling notes that Wheaton is the highest-ranked Christian college on Kiplinger’s list.
“Providing excellent academic quality and strong financial aid in a distinctively Christian community are key priorities for Wheaton,” Belling says. “We’re honored to receive Kiplinger’s ranking, which recognizes Wheaton as the highest-valued Christian college and one of the nation’s best liberal arts colleges overall.”
