The Wheaton College Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology program requires students to complete a one-year-internship in clinical psychology as part of degree requirements.
The doctoral internship requirement is consistent with APA accreditation requirements and licensure laws for clinical psychologists. The doctoral internship is a rigorous, full-time clinical training experience which serves as the clinical training keystone in student's doctoral training. The Ph.D. program (launching in Fall 2021) currently has no internship data, but you may view data from the Psy.D. program here.
