ELIC Field Based M.A. Program

 

The MA in TESOL has been offered since 2000 in a flexible mode for ELIC teachers. All courses are offered in an online format throughout the year, so the degree can be earned from any area of the world. Intensive courses are offered each year on Wheaton’s campus in August to provide the option of in-person instruction and to enhance community.  ELIC teachers and other staff are also welcome to earn the degree on Wheaton’s campus through our residential program.

Through a cooperative arrangement between English Language Institute/China (ELIC) and Wheaton College, students accepted by both ELIC and Wheaton College will receive a tuition discount. It is necessary to apply to BOTH Wheaton College and ELIC because the application processes are distinct from each other. Acceptance by one does not guarantee acceptance by the other.
