The Papatheofanis Lectures on Early Christianity were established in honor of Drs. Frank and Julie Papatheofanis, whose vision and sacrifice were principally responsible for the foundation of The Wheaton Center for Early Christian Studies. The lecture is given every fall.

Dr. Daniel H. Williams, Professor of Patristics and Historical Theology at Baylor University, gave the 2017 Papatheofanis Lecture. The lecture took place in the Billy Graham Center 432, the Wilson Suite on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 7:30 pm. These lectures are free and open to the public.
