Dr. Toussaint Whetstone is the Dean Student Wellness. He is a Licensed Psychologist who received his B.S. in Psychology from Olivet Nazarene University, his M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College, and his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology through the School of Education at Loyola University Chicago. Dr. Whetstone began his career in higher education by working as a staff therapist in the Wheaton College Counseling Center (WCCC) from 2007-2010. He went on to work and train as a mental health practitioner in other collegiate settings including DePaul University and the University of Notre Dame where he completed his doctoral psychology internship. Dr. Whetstone returned to Wheaton College in 2014 and served as the Director of the WCCC for five years, achieving his goal of making counseling services more accessible to Wheaton College students.
Dr. Whetstone’s strengths are: Relator, Achiever, Analytical, Self-Assurance, and Focus. He is committed to developing relationships and utilizing systems to help students and staff achieve wellness, balance, and fulfillment in the pursuit of their life’s work.
