Our Staff
Jared Falkanger
Director
M.A. Christian Formation and Ministry, Wheaton College 2019
B.A. International Relations, Wheaton College 2013
As the Director for Ministry and Evangelism, Jared encourages students to take their faith and learning in the classroom away from campus in service and ministry in both local and global contexts. As a student at Wheaton, Jared volunteered through the programs of the office and participated on a spring break service trip. Through these experiences, as well as his leadership roles on Orientation Committee and Student Government, he developed a passion for the intersection of ministry, student development, and Christian formation. After coming to Wheaton as undergraduate from Minnesota, Jared has spent the last 12 years teaching, volunteering, and developing relationships with parachurch organizations in Chicagoland. Jared loves his work with students as he supports, trains and develops leaders involved in Ministry and Evangelism programming. He especially loves the way that service forms identity and contributes to a deepening relationship with God. Jared attends Church of the Resurrection and volunteers in the youth group. He is married to Meaghan (’13) and is a new dad! He loves participating in cross-cultural activities, especially related to food and fellowship. His Minnesotan identity and accent are especially noticeable when he engages in conversation about his favorite Minnesota sports teams.

Oliver Davis

B.A. Kinesiology, Azusa Pacific University 2018
Oliver is excited to be returning to Ministry and Evangelism as a second year GRA working with Student Missionary Partners. He grew up in Gilbert, Arizona, and later majored in Kinesiology and minored in Psychology at Azusa Pacific University in California. He had opportunities there to start to develop a love for working with college students and helping them learn to navigate the challenges that come with being a young Christian adult in the modern world. After college Oliver spent two years in Ecuador working for Living and Learning International as a Resident Coordinator, where he was blessed with the opportunity to mentor and disciple college students who were spending the semester abroad. He is excited to continue that journey at Wheaton in the Higher Education and Student Development program. When not working or completing assignments, Oliver likes to play sports (primarily soccer), spend time with friends and family, or read a good book!
