Ministry and Evangelism at Wheaton

The Ministry and Evangelism team helps Wheaton students regularly extend their learning and live out their faith through service and volunteering with campus ministries and churches. Every week, students

tutor local refugees and immigrant children
visit youth at a local correctional facility
disciple groups for high school students
coordinate global worship and prayer opportunities
collaborate with Christian workers around the world in short-term ministry experiences

Student Missionary Partners (SMP)

Wheaton College has a strong tradition of student-led global missions and service. Student Missionary Partners continues this by organizing trips during the school year and summer.

Christian Service Council Cabinet - 2024

Christian Service Council (CSC)

Christian Service Council partners with hospitals, nonprofit organizations near Wheaton, and other clubs and organizations on campus to listen, work with, and love our neighbors in the name of Christ.

World Christian Fellowship

WCF seeks to tell gospel centered stories to foster a hunger for the presence of God and invite students to participate in the restoration and reconciliation of the family of God.

Honduras Project

The Honduras Project is a student-led mission that annually funds and builds gravity-fed water systems, bringing clean spring water to homes in rural Honduran villages.

Ministry Teams

We provide ministry leadership and volunteer experiences for student-led ministry teams that advocate for the marginalized, provide justice for the oppressed, and declare the salvation of Christ.

Urbana Missions Conference

Every three years, the Ministry & Evangelism Office helps to send Wheaton College undergraduate and graduate students to Urbana.

Our Mission

Ministry & Evangelism equips students to learn from, serve alongside, and partner with communities and organizations around the world in the redemptive work of the Gospel.

We DEVELOP ministry leaders who are growing in awareness of God's work in themselves and God's work around the world to have a greater understanding of how these two work together to inform their purpose.
We SEND student into communities and organizations around the world with a humble and learning posture to participate in serving "the least of these" [Matt. 25:40] and proclaiming Christ in partnership with existing organizations.
We CULTIVATE a holistic ministry ethos and pedagogy in students that is rooted in evangelism, justice, and hospitality.
