Our free BRIDGE program offers an unparalleled opportunity to find out what college is really like—while you’re still in high school. Build the academic skills you’ll need in college while living on campus.
Designed to expand access to college, this two-year summer program prepares Christian high school sophomores and juniors for college through a curriculum that fosters intellectual, leadership, and spiritual growth. Each summer for two years, you’ll spend four weeks living on campus, eating in our dining hall, and learning at the college level. Best of all, you won’t pay a thing.
Students should apply during their sophomore year of high school in order to participate the following two summers. High school juniors may also apply to participate in the second summer of the program.
Engage in discussion-based seminars, writing courses, and lectures on topics in the arts, humanities, theology, and social sciences. You’ll also participate in field trips, team-building activities, and church visits.
During the summer, you’ll receive guidance for the college application process. And throughout your junior and senior years, scholars receive academic tutoring and college application support.
Through in-depth Bible studies and one-on-one mentoring relationships, you'll deepen your faith and live in a community with peers and mentors who seek to strengthen their own Christian commitment.
Once you’ve completed the two-year program, you'll receive a guaranteed partial scholarship to Wheaton College if accepted and will be in the running for one of several full-tuition scholarships Wheaton has just for BRIDGE students.
