Student Government
Wheaton’s campus holds three incredible opportunities for students to both mentor and be
mentored by fellow students. Student Government’s EVP of Student Life and Engagement seeks to work in collaboration with the leaders of these mentor programs in conjunction with Residence Life and the Admissions Oce towards furthering awareness and marketing for these opportunities. The goal of this is to ensure students, specically incoming freshmen, are fully informed of the ways they can be cared for and supported by peers.
1-2-1 Program (OMD):
1-2-1 aims to support and encourage incoming multicultural students as they navigate their freshmen year at Wheaton College through personal relationships with freshmen of color and organizing freshmen fellowship events.
Ladder Program (ISP):
Ladder provides 1-on-1 guidance and support for new rst-year and transfer international students (F-1 visa, MK and TCK). Ladder leaders help new students navigate their transition to Wheaton by building friendships with them and making connections to people and resources on campus.
Presence (Student Involvement):
Presence is a women's peer mentorship program that aims to promote growth and provide guidance in all areas of life to the female students at Wheaton College through relational mentorship.
