MISSION
The Office of Multicultural Development exists as a spiritual, physical, and community home for students of color and those students committed to a greater understanding of scripture and the life of Christ, especially in terms of Christ-centered diversity,* race-ethnic identity, and antiracist social justice as intertwined dimensions of the Gospel.
VISION
- To influence, encourage, support and develop students’ of color and multicultural students’ understanding of the Gospel, particularly the dimensions of Christ-centered diversity, racial identity, and acts of antiracism, as faithful disciples of Christ
- To develop the students’ intentional engagement of spiritual life, academics, and campus life, along with leadership and professional development.
- To challenge Wheaton College’s progress along these same principles
