Biography
Lynn E. Millikan is an adjunct instructor in General Chemistry with extensive experience teaching chemistry and physics at the secondary and collegiate levels. She currently serves as a General Chemistry instructor at Wheaton College, a role she has held since 2023.
Ms. Millikan brings more than twenty-five years of teaching experience, including instruction in General Chemistry, Honors Chemistry, AP Chemistry, Honors Physics, and AP Physics courses at a variety of independent schools across the United States. Her career reflects a strong commitment to science education, curriculum development, and laboratory-based learning.
In addition to her work in chemistry education, she holds a master’s degree in theology and has pursued substantial continuing education focused on chemistry pedagogy, data visualization, and advanced placement science instruction. Her excellence in teaching has been recognized regionally and nationally by the American Chemical Society and other professional organizations.
