Wheaton College Summer Institute: Music Intensive
Join us for a distinctively Christian Music Intensive for skilled high school musicians entering grades 10, 11, and 12. The Music Intensive course under the Wheaton College Summer Institute. offers students an opportunity to live on campus for two weeks, study with Conservatory faculty, and grow musically and spiritually as they practice, perform, and attend concert events.
SAVE THE DATE: June 16-29, 2024. The application will open December 1.
Music Intensive
Upon submission of your application for the Wheaton College Summer Institute Music Intensive, you will receive a Music Profile Form link where you may upload your repertoire list and two contrasting video-playing samples to fulfill the audition requirement.
At the WCSI Music Intensive, you will experience life as a Wheaton College Conservatory student. Like our undergraduate students, those attending the summer music program will study with Conservatory faculty in private lessons, master classes, and chamber ensemble experiences. The course is designed to guide young artists as they grow in their faith and understanding of what it means to be a Christian musician. Other activities include faculty recitals, student performances, repertoire study, and exploring the arts in the city of Chicago!
