HoneyRock Financial Assistance

If, as you’re considering HoneyRock for your camper, you’re concerned about finances, please complete this form! Don’t count yourself out.

For: Any who need financial assistance or are on the fence about sending their child to HoneyRock due to finances.
Deadline to Apply: encouraged to apply as early as possible; April 15^th deadline
Amount: up to full program fee; in 2025 the average gift was:

High School Program: $537 average awarded per camper*
Residential Camp: $408 average awarded per camper*
*This number does not include the Matching Scholarship.

To Apply for Financial Assistance:

1. Complete the “Financial Assistance Application” Jotform available on Nov. 10th on this webpage.
2. Register your camper for a summer program and pay the $150 or $250 deposit
3. Wait one month as we review your application and process the information for the scholarship amount to be reflected on your bill.

Upon Receiving Financial Assistance from HoneyRock...

We ask that you help your camper write a thank note to our camper scholarship donors at the conclusion of your camp session. HoneyRock shares these thank you cards with camper scholarship donors. Your camper can write their letter to "Dear HoneyRock Donors" or "Dear HoneyRock". When your camper is ready, you can mail it to the address below.

Additional Information

If your financial situation changes between the time you complete the application and send your camper to HoneyRock, we encourage you to edit your application by resubmitting the jotform application, even if you have already received a scholarship.

If this happens, please also notify the Registration Coordinator by email at honeyrock.register@wheaton.edu of changes you have made.

Camper families will be automatically opted into a monthly payment plan at the time of registration. Payment plans will conclude with a final payment on May 15th, when balances are due to be paid in full. The cost of the program fee (excluding the deposit) are refundable until March 15th. 50% of the program fee is refundable after March 15th until May 15th. After May 15th, the program fee is non-refundable.

We strongly encourage all campers, no matter your family’s financial need, to contribute to their own camp experience through the Matching Scholarship. This gives your camper a deeper sense of ownership for their experience. HoneyRock will match every dollar a camper contributes to the program fee up to $150 (Intro) | $300 (Res/Advance/2:22).

To Receive Funds:

1. Register your camper and pay the $150/$250 deposit.

2. Click on the "Financial Aid Application Jotform" found on this webpage beginning November 10th, and follow the prompts to submit your application.

3. Complete “Camper Matching Scholarship” beginning Nov. 10th, but no later than April 15th. 

4. Your Camper Matching Scholarship will be awarded within one month of receiving your completed Camper Matching Questionnaire. Your Camper Matching Scholarship application is NOT complete and cannot be processed without the Questionnaire submission.

5. Help your camper write a thank note to our camper scholarship donors at the conclusion of your camp session. HoneyRock shares these thank you cards with camper scholarship donors. Your camper can write their letter to "Dear HoneyRock Donors" or "Dear HoneyRock". When your camper is ready, you can mail it to the address below.

Additional Information

As parents, you will ensure your camper has earned and paid you the money and that the Camper Matching Scholarship Questionnaire is completed. Your application is not complete until the questionnaire is submitted.

If you’re applying for this scholarship after the April 15th deadline, follow the same steps. If we have remaining funds, you will be awarded financial assistance.

Thanks to our partnership with Psalm68Five, we have scholarships available for campers growing up without the active presence of a father in their home or in their life, as noted on our scholarship application. • Once the application is complete, look for an email within one month sharing the scholarship amount.

If the financial assistance you receive is not enough and you must cancel your registration, your deposit is returned in full.

Please complete the Financial Assistance Application Jotform again with your updated information. Please notify us by email at honeyrock.register@wheaton.edu of changes you have made if it is after you have already been awarded Financial Assistance.

Our goal this year is to turn around financial assistance applications within one month. 

Camper Matching Scholarships will be applied to your account within one month of submitting the form, while funds are available. 

We encourage you to apply for a Camper Matching Scholarship early. Scholarships are awarded as long as there are funds available.
