Since its inception, engagement with God’s creation has been a core part of the Christian summer camp experience. For many campers, camp is an experience that introduces landscapes and wildlife that aren’t often seen at home.

This resource from Covenant Point provides a simple way for campers to intentionally engage in creation. For older campers, consider modifying this to help them find elements of creation that are discussed in scripture and include the verse alongside it for reflection. (E.G. Include a constellation, like the big dipper, and provide a reference to Psalm 8-3 alongside it).

Use this on a nature walk at camp, or send it home with camper parents at the end of camp to use at home. Offer prizes for completion for added excitement!
